Latvian delegation learns from Upper Austria

In mid-January, Upper Austria was the target of a two-day visit of a Latvian delegation as a best practice example for the implementation of the cluster policy and the strategic programme #upperVISION2030. Together with the Upper Austrian Economic Chamber and the Upper Austrian State Department Economic and Research, Business Upper Austria presented the cluster landscape and the business location with Upper Austria's fields of strength.
In order to achieve effective learning effects, the-mentioned topics were subsequently discussed in depth. The discussions also focused on challenges such as the shortage of skilled labour that the Upper Austrian and Latvian regions have to overcome in the next years. The participants were able to gain insights into the successful Upper Austrian system and first steps for further cooperation were made.
